Year 11 Leavers’ Dinner

The annual year 11 Leavers’ Dinner was a really glittering affair. It was an opportunity for pupils to have a glamorous send off and celebrate the completion of their high school days in style.

It is true to say that you never forget your school days and I can testify to some cringe-worthy memories of my own. I hope that these year 11s will look back on their school days, as I will as the Achievement Coordinator, with fondness.

Leavers Dinner

The evening was a spectacular conclusion to a year’s worth of stress and hard work. With all their exams out of the way, the students laughed, posed and danced the night away. The atmosphere was fantastic and I can honestly say we all had a brilliant night.

My sincerest thanks go to Miss Cave (office lady who collects all the money), Mat and Pat (Matthew Burrows and Patricia Lewis – Head Boy and Head Girl), Tom Yarwood and Arkham Abdi (Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl) for their support in planning the event, and to all the year 11s for the beautiful flowers.
