Wentworth High School


Wentworth High School caters for the educational needs of up to 900 boys and girls aged 11 to 16. It is a Community School administered by the City of Salford Directorate of Children’s Services.

Where our pupils come from

In September 2006, the School can admit up to 180 pupils in Year 7. It is the current policy of Salford's Directorate of Children’s Services that pupils normally transfer to a Secondary High School from an associated Partner Primary School. The group of Partner Primary Schools associated with Wentworth High School is as follows:

Clarendon Road Primary Pupils attending these Schools, are
Monton Green Primary entitled to transfer to Wentworth High
Westwood Park Primary, Lewis Street Primary, St. Andrew's C. E. Primary Transfer is optional for these pupils Light Oak Primary,
Broadoak Primary Transfer depends upon place of Moorside Primary residence for these pupils
