Academic Performance
Exam Results – Fantastic News
Wentworth High School this year achieved its best ever GCSE results, with an improvement of 7% from 2006 and an 11% improvement on the performance in 2005. Not only this, 100% of all pupils that attended Wentworth High School came out with qualifications in at least one subject, thirty five pupils achieved at least one A or A*, and 11 pupils achieved 5 or more A*-A. Top of the tree were Heather Wood, Christopher Ward and Jasmine Cooper who achieved ten or more A-A* grades. This is an outstanding achievement for these pupils and we wish all of the pupils well in the future.
At Key Stage 3, Wentworth continues its three year trend in producing very good results, with the school surpassing its targets for the last academic year. The results included three pupils, Sam Hayman, Laura Vallely and Rebecca Wild, who achieved the highest possible level in all three core subjects Mathematics, English and Science.
Congratulations to Sam Hayman, Laura Vallely and Rebecca Wild!
