Unit 3 – it’s a small word, is a project aimed at children, in which I have made a kit for my specified target audience. The purpose of this project is to make a kit which includes:

2 3D characters of my own design which will be built by the consumer
A backdrop which is used as a background for my characters
Tell the Tale, a story for my characters which the consumer could use for inspiration for their own stories
Packaging for the product

My target audience is from 8-11 year olds, I have chosen to do a pack which is not educational as I feel it would sell worse if was educational. It would also be less fun for me to make.

My project involved quite a bit of planning, I created a plan to progress my work, and to keep track of my time. This plan was of great use to me and helped me to manage my time well this allowed me to work economically.

I feel the project was a useful insight into graphics IT, however I feel a lot of the work I had already done a similar thing to in my first DIDA module. I have enjoyed this project and feel that I has been beneficial, it has improved my IT skills.
